Functions and Duties:

• Represents banks and mortgage loan servicers in all stages of the foreclosure process, including contested cases.
• Manages and maintains foreclosure files in accordance with industry compliance requirements.
• Reviews and executes legal documents and pleadings, including but not limited to motions, notices, and affidavits.
• Prepares responses to discovery requests.
• Prepares for and attends court hearings, mediations, depositions, and non-jury trials.
• Compiles and reviews documents required to complete the foreclosure process.
• Prosecutes cases in a timely manner to ensure compliance with client timeline requirements.
• Properly utilizes firm’s case management system and reporting to ensure all applicable deadlines are met.
• Reviews information in the firm’s case management system and client systems to ensure data integrity and consistency.
• Researches and analyzes statutes, case law, and regulatory requirements.
• Legal research and legal writing.
• Ability to respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner via client platforms, phone, and email.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 0-2 years of foreclosure experience
• Admission to the Florida Bar
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
• Time management skills
• Knowledge of civil procedure and rules of evidence

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $70,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:
