Bilingual Mental Health Therapist (Spanish Speaking) | LCSW, LCPC, LMFT | Hybrid | Palatine, IL
Ellie Mental Health Palatine
We are seeking a
bilingual Spanish-speaking Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT) or license-eligible clinician to join our growing outpatient therapy team at Ellie Mental Health in Palatine.
This clinician must be
fluent in both Spanish and English and able to provide therapy in both languages to support the needs of our diverse community.
Important: Some job boards may list this role as remote. While we offer hybrid flexibility based on client needs, this role is
primarily in person at our Palatine office . Clinicians should expect to work
at least 70 percent of their time in office .

Caseload Expectation
Full-time clinicians maintain a caseload of
approximately 25 client sessions per week .

Responsibilities Conduct diagnostic assessments and establish appropriate mental health diagnoses
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide high-quality therapy sessions in
Spanish and English when appropriate
Maintain accurate and timely documentation including diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes according to company policy
Maintain a caseload of approximately
25 client sessions per week for full-time clinicians Collaborate with families, schools, medical providers, case managers, and other care team members when appropriate
Participate in clinical staff meetings, trainings, and consultation
Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve their goals
Contribute to a supportive and positive clinic culture
Other meaningful responsibilities that support our clients and our team
Required Qualifications and Skills
Fluent in Spanish and English and able to provide therapy in both languages Masters degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology, or related behavioral health field from an accredited university
Licensed in Illinois (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD) or actively working toward licensure
Experience completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and clinical case notes
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English
Ability to demonstrate and maintain appropriate professional boundaries with clients
Ability to complete documentation in a timely manner
Comfort working with a diverse client population
Flexible work from home options available.
