Position Overview: - The Business Engineering (BE) group, within the Investments and Capital Markets Business Technology Office (I&CM BTO), is responsible for delivering technology solutions that support the entire I&CM division. BE works closely with client's customers in the Front and Back Office to develop solutions that enhance and streamline business processes, while reducing risk.
- The Payments program, is seeking a Senior Developer Contract Worker to work within a Product Team environment to design, develop, and support enhancements for the enterprise payments platform.
Responsibilities Include: - Engage business users to define the requirements and design for the new payments platform.
- Application development, prototyping, and high-level technical consulting.
- Work closely with team members and business partners to develop cutting edge technology solutions under tight deadlines.
- Predict effects of configuration changes; identify application bottlenecks and opportunities to optimize performance.
- Support issue resolution and completion of ad-hoc requests in support of business partners within the I&CM division.
Basic Requirements: - 5 to 7 years of IT experience in design, development, integration and testing of software solutions based on J2EE technologies in an agile environment.
- 5 to 7 years of experience with relational databases including Sybase, SQL Server, MySQL, and/or DB2.
- 3 to 5 years of experience developing RESTful web services using Spring Boot.
- 2 to 3 years of experience developing front-end GUIs using Angular 2 or higher.
- 2 to 3 years of experience with managing, building, and deploying code through tools including Eclipse, GIT, Gradle, Docker, and Jenkins.
- 2 to 3 years of experience designing and executing JUnit test cases using Mockito framework based on business requirements and functional specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
Preferred Skills: - Previous experience working on Product Teams leveraging Agile delivery principals
- Excellent problem solving and analytical, and technical skills.
- Ability to think critically and act expeditiously to evaluate situations, make decisions and solve problems.
