Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher fluent in Spanish, specializing in Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (DCD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This full-time, contracted position offers a chance to work with a focused caseload in a Setting 3 classroom designed to support approximately 6 to 10 students.

Location: Saint Paul, MN
Contract Period: August 31, 2026 June 4, 2027
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full time)
Caseload: Serving students with DCD and ASD in a Setting 3 classroom
Number of Buildings: 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with developmental cognitive disabilities and autism
• Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) to meet each students unique needs
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists and other educators
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
• Provide a supportive, engaging learning environment that promotes communication and social skills

Qualifications / Experience Required:

• Current license with endorsements in ASD or DCD (Tier 3 and 4 only)
• Experience working in special education settings, preferably with Setting 3 classrooms
• Proficient in Spanish, both spoken and written, to support bilingual instruction and communication
• Strong understanding of special education laws, policies, and best practices
